epsr courses

They talk! I can't understand! I talk! They can't understand!

EPSR intrinsically designs courses based on the learner’s needs and requirements for English.  Nevertheless, EPSR invites learners to consider one of three available courses.

The Living English Course

Who is the course for?

The "Living English" Pronunciation Course  is for learners of English as a foreign language who would like to improve their English Pronunciation and Conversation skills.  Learners are required to have an intermediate level of proficiency in English.  If the student's proficiency level were unknown, it would be strongly recommended that the student attend a short interview with the teacher who will then assess his or her level before enrolment.  If you're still not sure if this course is for you, read the following sentences and ask yourself if you agree on any of them.  If you agree on at least one, then the course is definitely for you.

  • You speak English but they can't understand!
  • They speak English but you can't understand!
  • You think you can say what you want but you can’t say it when you try!
  • You can understand almost everything you read but only 10% of what you hear!
  • You CAN say what you want to say INSIDE your head but the moment you open your mouth, it’s all gone!

How will the course help me?

  • You will learn how to understand fast English!

The IELTS Pronunciation & Fluency Clinic

EPSR understands that there is a strong market for the IELTS courses and test and increasingly big demand for more aid tools that could help the students to achieve a greater score in IELTS test.

As a result of placing the rating of pronunciation on a full 9 scale in line with the other 3 analytical criteria (Fluency and Coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range and Accuracy), improving the students’ pronunciation has become decisive for their future.

In some cases, 0.5 or 1 point can either decide the beginning or end of a student’s journey in Australia.

In order to assist the students in achieving the best score possible, English Pronunciation for Specific Registers (EPSR), has designed a special program entitled “The IELTS Pronunciation & Fluency Clinic” to target the pronunciation difficulties handicapping the students’ speech and impacting their confidence during the IELTS speaking test.

The program only runs on Fridays between 16:00 and 19:30pm.  The number of students allowed in the classroom is no more than 8.
